Questions about scanning plans and artwork
Do you scan A0, A1 and A2 sheets?
Our large-format scanning service covers sizes from A4 to A0. Include the size, quantity and whether your originals are flat, rolled, folded or mounted. Our A0–A3 scanning guide helps you describe the job.
Should I choose PDF or JPEG?
PDF can keep related drawings together, while JPEG provides an individual image. Explain whether the files are for viewing, sharing or printing, and whether fine annotations or colour details must be preserved. Compare the options in our scanning formats guide.
Will a scan become an editable CAD drawing?
A PDF or JPEG scan is an image of the original and does not automatically create editable CAD geometry. Describe your intended use and any scale requirements before agreeing the work.
